This article analyzes high school textbooks approved by the National Textbook Program (PNLD) of 2021, focusing on the integration of human rights, sexuality, and gender. It employs a mixed-methods, documental, descriptive, and exploratory approach to examine how these themes are addressed, identifying gaps and suggesting more inclusive approaches. The results indicate a lack of in-depth content on sexuality and gender, highlighting the need for educational policies that promote more inclusive and representative education. This article, part of a master's research, is supported by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Brazil (CAPES) - Funding Code 001.
