OS CONSELHOS E COORDENADORIAS DE POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS DE DIREITO DA MULHER NOS MUNICÍPIOS SERGIPANOS: IMPLANTADOS, DESATIVADOS E REATIVADOS
Abstract
The research project entitled "Councils and Public Policy Coordinators for Women's Rights in Sergipan Municipalities: implanted, deactivated and reactivated" has as its general objective to map the set of organizations in defense of women in their installation process. The methodological steps were carried out remotely due to the health situation. Soon, we started the survey of virtual contacts and addresses of the Women's Councils and Coordinating Committees. Based on the data and information collected we apprehended the object of analysis, beyond appearance, the essence of the real. Among the results we highlight: eight (08) activated councils and six (06) in the process of activation, which is equivalent to 10.86% of the total of 75 municipalities. We identified twenty-seven (27) councils installed, corresponding to 30.6%. Thus, we signal that in Sergipe there is a deficit of 90.2% of municipalities without Women's Councils installed, and 69.7% do not have Public Policy Coordinators for women. Facing the violence against women in Sergipe, we emphasize the relevance of these bodies as strategic mechanisms in the fight to enable the control, monitoring, implementation of programs and actions of public policies to confront the expressions of the social issue and gender equality in Sergipe.
