Author Guidelines

The Movimento - education journal accepts, in continuous flow, original manuscripts (article, review, interview and document, but also Thematic Dossier) in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French, which contribute to the advancement of educational research and to the dissemination of critical knowledge in the area.

If the original manuscript is written in a foreign language, it must be accompanied by the Portuguese version.

The text must be unpublished, and its content must have at least 60% original research in the scientific and academic sphere.

Manuscripts produced by graduates and students (undergraduates and graduate students) are accepted provided they are co-authored with the teacher-advisor with the title of master or doctor.

The publication of the works is conditional on the double-blind evaluation process. The relevance of the theme, the relevance to editorial policy, the rigor in the theoretical approach, in methodology and argumentation, as well as the correction and clarity in the construction of the text, is taken as a reference.

The editors will conduct a prior evaluation of the work before being referred to two reviewers. In the case of divergent opinions, a third opinion will be requested. Cases not covered here will be considered and decided by the Editors.

If accepted for publication, the work will be submitted to a language check and then forwarded to the author with the suggestions for changes. After being returned by the author, within the stipulated period, the work enters the process of diagramming and publishing.

After the final acceptance for publication, the author of the manuscript must provide and include, through the system, a Spanish, English or French version.

If the original manuscript is written in a foreign language, it must be accompanied by the Portuguese version.
