Esquecer para pensar: a interferência de memórias conflitivas no processo de aprendizagem

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo explicitar por meio da obra freudiana a presença de duas vertentes no que concerne à relação entre memória e recalcamento e sua relação com o processo de aprendizagem. Essas vertentes podem ser sintetizadas na seguinte formulação: o recalcamento que pode funcionar como obstáculo para a recordação, como nos lapsos ou na amnésia infantil, é ao mesmo tempo condição necessária para a constituição da memória. O recalcamento como obstáculo à recordação é uma ideia já bastante explorada pela teoria e prática psicanalíticas, ao passo que o “recalcamento como condição de memória” recebeu até hoje muito pouca atenção.
