Abstract

Here is a review of the book, The Wretched of the Earth, by Frantz Fanon. The work makes strong criticisms of capitalism, colonialism, racism, patriarchy, Christianity, and other forms of oppression. It highlights the psychic suffering as a result of this process of arbitrary domination, which imposes the western-centric world system from top to bottom and at the expense of violence. The book is an invitation to the reinvention of epistemologies of resistance and emancipation of consciences.
