This essay offers a poetic and phenomenological reading of the work of Brazi lian artist Ascânio MMM, exploring the relationship between body, space, and perception in his sculptural practice. Engaging with the philosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and other theorists, the text investigates how Ascânio's constructive rigor and poetic openness transform space into a sensitive experience, both in museological and urban contexts. Works such as Geometria Inquieta, Caixas 1 e 2, Tramas, and Fita are analyzed, discussing their integration of technique and affect, precision and openness, and their political dimension as devices for coexistence
