O “guerreiro da trincheira”: a masculinidade em Tempestades de Aço, de Ernst Jünger

O presente trabalho aborda algumas consequências da Primeira Guerra Mundial na Alemanha, sobretudo a continuidade de seus efeitos em grupos mais à direita do espectro político, no período da República de Weimar. Para isso mobilizamos a obra Tempestades de Aço, de Ernst Jünger. Argumento que há em Jünger uma sobreposição de referências românticas e modernas na busca por fornecer algum tipo de sentido à Alemanha Pós-guerra. Esta sobreposição reflete-se de forma direta na representação da masculinidade, mobilizada como veículo de resposta ao caráter inefável dos tempos modernos.
