DESIGUALDADE SOCIAIS EM SAÚDE NA CARACTERIZAÇÃO DA TUBERCULOSE EM ALAGOAS ENTRE 2010 E 2019

Tuberculosis is an epidemiological disease of relevance to public health, affecting mainly people living in social vulnerability. The objective of the study was to analyze the socio-epidemiological characteristics of tuberculosis in Alagoas, related to social inequality in health, between 2010 and 2019. Descriptive, retrospective epidemiological study, with a quantitative approach, using the variables gender, age group, education, race/ color, type of entry and associated grievances. There was a predominance of males (63.40%), age group between 20 and 39 years (42.37%), education level with predominance for teaching 1st to 4th grade (14.98%), followed by illiterates (11.42%), brown (66.02%), black (11.69%). New cases reported (80.74%), use of alcohol (20.30%) and HIV/AIDS (9.13%). the results allowed us to conclude that there is inequality in relation to tuberculosis among the categories studied.
