O FATOR ÉTNICO NA REGULAÇÃO CONSTITUCIONAL DA ESTRUTURA TERRITORIAL DO ESTADO NOS PAÍSES DOS BRICS

É examinada neste artigo a influência da estrutura étnica e linguística das populações da Índia, República da África do Sul, China, Brasil e Rússia sobre o arranjo territorial desses Estados, com vistas à observância de semelhanças e diferenças que guardem entre si. O autor conclui que, em todos os cinco países, a estrutura territorial reflete a distribuição espacial de grupos étnicos e linguísticos em todo o território do Estado. A par disso, apenas na Rússia, entre os princípios constitucionais relativos ao sistema territorial, encontra-se previsto o princípio da autodeterminação dos povos.
