The research examines the commitment of the Parintins Festival groups to socio-environmental issues, as well as the event's potential as a vehicle for information, resilience, and resistance. The analysis focuses on the role of the Caprichoso and Garantido Bois toadas in mobilizing society around environmental and Indigenous issues, in addition to the sustainability initiatives promoted by the groups. The toadas denounce environmental crimes and emphasize the importance of protecting forests and Indigenous peoples, acting as instruments of environmental education. The research also highlights the presence of implicit legal norms in the festival's narratives, demonstrating how popular culture can contribute to environmental awareness and the promotion of sustainability.
