CRITICISM OF POLITICAL AND CRIMINAL POLITICAL ECONOMY:
POLITICAL-CRIMINAL NEOLIBERALISM IN SANTA CATARINA

The present work aims to analyze the criminal policy in neoliberalism and how security mechanisms are presented as commodities within a financialized neoliberal economy. The objective is to investigate the relationships between the implementation of neoliberal economic policies and the phenomenon of complexification of the punitive system and its reflexes in economic and criminal policies in the Brazilian reality, analyzing the policies adopted and the investment that has been made, perhaps in the example privileged state of Santa Catarina. The research was carried out through the deductive methodology, with the use of bibliographic material, as well as the use of official publications for analysis of the object. In a preliminary way, since this study needs continuous investigations, it can be said that the conclusion was reached that the hypothesis of confirms, that is, the criminal policy adopted for the State of Santa Catarina converges with the demands of financial capitalism neoliberal.
