A DEFINIÇÃO DOS DISCURSOS DE ÓDIO E OS PADRÕES INTERNACIONAIS DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS
Abstract
The present study aims to identify how hateful speech has been examined in society from a historical context and what is the way in which it is being dealt with. To answer such questions, historical lines of study of the subject will be presented, and social contexts in order to observe standards defined by international bodies for the protection of human rights. The methodology applied in this study is of a qualitative nature, since the methods of bibliographic review and document analysis will be used, with the objective of studying the national and international productions on the subject in order to unravel the way in which the discourse of hatred. By way of conclusions, the research identified that Brazil follows the constitutional parameters, but little observes the international standards on the subject.
