Las políticas para la infancia y el enfoque de derechos en América Latina: algunas reflexiones sobre su abordaje teórico

Resumo

En la academia latinoamericana tiende a tratarse al “campo de politicas de infancia” como compuesto por instituciones tradicionalmente orientadas a la minoridad, reconfiguradas por la Convención Internacional de Derechos del Niño (CDN). Esta posición, rica como ha sido en presentar las modalidades de regulación social de que la infancia latinoamericana ha sido objeto, no considera en profundidad las tensiones en la implementación de la CDN como instrumento de derechos humanos y marco de especificación de la ciudadanía infantil. Así, revisaremos tal proceso en Argentina, identificando aquellos nudos que permiten considerar mejor las operaciones de institucionalización, identificando especificidades y desafíos investigativos.
