BEING AND EXISTING OF THE DIGITAL POEM
Keywords:
Heidegger, digital poem, contemporay art, esthetics.Abstract
The esthetic discussions from the XX century have two effects upon the reflection on digital artistic production, in particular poetic production. On the one hand, they tend to ignore possible differences between conversations and conflicts, and vanguard and post-vanguard, On the other hand, they reduce the artistic and esthetic experience to gestures and practices, losing sight of objectivity. Drawing on two essays by Heidegger, one on the origin of the work of art, and the other on poetry, this paper aims at mapping out the most relevant elements of digital poems, in an attempt to develop the perception and exploration of reading in a digital means as an esthetic and artistic experience.
