This article aims at analyzing the translator's notes which focus on the search for meaning. Two cases will be analyzed. The first one refers to the interruption caused by the lack of an accurate word. In this sense, the meaning becomes saturated and incomplete. The second case relies on the interruption caused by excessive options of meaning. Therefore, the analysis of such notes indicates the translator's struggle for the meaning during the translating process which calls our attention on the complexity involved in the process.
