Abstract

Currently, society frequently seeks an aesthetically pleasing and healthy smile. Dentistry, with its current conservative profile combined with numerous tools available in the market, enables the design of procedures that prioritize treatment success by restoring function and harmony with greater safety and predictability. Minimally invasive Ceramic Veneers can be indicated to solve various aesthetic problems such as modifications in shape, color, diastemas, among others. The objective of this work was to discuss minimally invasive ceramic veneers. To achieve this, a bibliographic search was carried out in the electronic databases Pubmed, Medline and CAPES journals from 2011 to 2023. In conclusion, planning is the main tool for treatment success. Periodontal health is an essential point that will also influence the final treatment outcome. Finally, it is important that indications are considered and well defined to minimize the possibilities of failure and dissatisfaction with treatment and to maximize its advantages, such as preservation of dental structure.
