Das margens ao centro – “A normalização sem vergonha"

Resumen

En este documento, discuto el giro hacia la (ultra) derecha en la política partidista (austriaca) durante la campaña electoral y la elección nacional del 15 de octubre de 2017. Sostengo que esta transformación es causada por un proceso de normalización, una adaptación a la agenda, a veces también extrema derecha, de los partidos populistas de derecha anteriormente, como el Partido de la Libertad de Austria (FPÖ, por sus siglas en alemán). La campaña electoral tanto del Partido Popular Austriaco (ÖVP) como del FPÖ se centró principalmente en la política de migración y refugiados, basada en una política de miedo y resentimiento. Después de intentar definir el fenómeno del populismo de derecha, rastreo cómo los contenidos de derecha, anteriormente tabúes y extremos, se volvieron aceptables cuando el ÖVP integró sin vergüenza algunos (no todos) los aspectos del programa electoral del FPÖ.
