Investigación-acción participativa en estudios de datos críticos: análisis de la IA desde un enfoque Sur-Norte

Resumen

Inspirándonos en la investigación acción participativa (PAP) y el trabajo de pensadores latinoamericanos como Freire y Fals Borda, proponemos un flujo Sur-Norte con el objetivo de desafiar la forma en que se da por sentada la centralidad del Norte en relación con las epistemologías. experiencias y comprensiones de la IA. Basándonos en talleres realizados con un grupo diverso de estudiantes, profesionales de la tecnología y activistas, sostenemos que el PAP no sólo puede empoderar a las comunidades marginadas del Sur Global, es importante que aprendamos más sobre su relevancia y usos en contextos del Norte Global. Nuestro análisis profundiza en tres conceptos específicos en torno a la IA y la (in)justicia de los datos: autonomía, empatía y diálogo, lo que provocó, entre otras reflexiones, recordar que la naturaleza humana es sensible (Borda, 2003).
