Abstract

This paper develops a brief reflection on translational issues underlying the procedures that go beyond and problematize the discussion on intertextuality or what common sense calls (mere) ‘quotation” or ‘reference” of an artistic work in another. It focuses the route carried by a sculptural work that inspired a poem, which in turn plays an important role within a film narrative.

Marcelo Rondinelli, UFSC

Formou-se em Letras português-alemão pela FFLCH/ USP, onde também se especializou em tradução. Entre 2001 e 2010, lecionou alemão no Instituto Goethe de São Paulo e, entre 2010 e 2011, na Universidade Federal do Ceará. Tem traduzido obras de diversos autores de língua alemã, entre eles Friedrich Dürrenmatt e Elfriede Jelinek. Prepara atualmente para a UFSC tese sobre (re)traduções de um poema de Friedrich Hölderlin por diferentes poetas tradutores brasileiros.
