This essay focus at comparing discourses in French and Brazilian textbooks on philosophy, in the ambit of discourse analysis. Our target is to present the results of the analysis of a corpus in textbooks of philosophy, highlighting how the comparative discourse linguistic analysis allows an interface between language and culture.
