Abstract

This article deals with the occurrence, in Spanish, of the verb "haber" with the definite article, reviewing some interpretations in light of theorizing about the enunciation that questions the uniqueness of the speaking subject. The consideration of the perspectives and voices in the enunciation leads to the focus of a specific type within defined introductory construction, which are reported from searches in corpora and conclusions reveal their potential in the argumentative operation.

Adrián Pablo Fanjul, USP

Professor no Departamento de Letras Modernas da Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Doutor em Linguística pela UNESP-Araraquara (2002), com pós-doutorado na Universidad de Buenos Aires (2006). Bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa, nível 2, do CNPq. Autor dos livros Português e espanhol: línguas próxima sob o olhar discursivo (Claraluz, 2002) e organizador de Espanhol e Português Brasileiro. Estudos Comparados (Parábola, lançamento em julho de 2014), além de diversos artigos em revistas especializadas e capítulos de livros. Desenvolve pesquisas sobre o funcionamento de categorias da enunciação e sobre análise discursivo-enunciativa, comparando textos e séries textuais nas duas línguas referidas.
