Abstract

Thinking about contemporary trends in literature implies, among other things, thinking about the very concept of contemporaneity. That is, it involves reflecting on its historical constitution, characteristics, theoretical precepts and its configuration in literature. In a word, paradoxical as it may seem, it also implies thinking tradition. It is to this theoretical reflection that we invite the reader to take part in.

Author Biography

Roberta Kelly Paiva, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

Graduada em Letras pela Universidade Federal de Mi­nas Gerais (2006 – Habilitação: Licenciatura em Português/ Francês) e Mestre em Estudos Literários pela mesma instituição (2010 - Área de Concentração: Teoria da Literatura), atualmente é doutoranda em Literatura Comparada pelo Pós-Lit (ainda na Faculdade de Letras da UFMG), no segundo ano do curso (orientação: Profa. Dra. Márcia Arbex). Seu interesse de pesquisa con­centra-se nos seguintes temas: literatura e dança, inteartes, intermidialidade, literatura francesa. Publicações de artigos em revistas eletrônicas: “O Fauno de Mallarmé e o mito de Pã e Siringe: olhares cruzados” (número 7 da Inventário, UFBA) e “O universo do grotesco e do monstruoso retratado no Ciclope de Eurípides e na Centauromaquia de Ovídio” (número 3 da Nuntius Antiquus, UFMG).
