This article emerges from the need to propose a description of deontic elements considering their performance in the opinion text, particularly in the opinion piece genre. In this enunciative context, there are some nuances of the deontic modality that can be understood within the possibility-necessity poles, considering the relationship that the text producer maintains with the text and with his/her partner.
