This paper presents an analysis of Texaco from allegories narratives created by Patrick Chamoiseau to compose it as the saga of a people in search of its ‘Magic Seat”. With attention to the intertextuality between Chamoiseau’s novel and the biblical text, we identify the implications of the paper will struggle for space in the realization of the desire of the characters.
