Édouard Glissant, João Guimarães Rosa, poetics of writing.Abstract
This is an approximation between the notions developed by Martinican philosopher Édouard Glissant (1928-2011) in some of his essays and the novel Grande sertão: veredas (1956) by João Guimarães Rosa (1908-1967), Brazilian writer. I intended to identify some resonances between the writing of both, considering the extrapolations of their "original" genres, fiction and essay, and how they interweave ethics and aesthetics.
