Memory and female performance on the contemporary scene

This article analyzes the relationship between female memory and theatrical performance in the shows ‘Melancholy and Manifestation” by the Argentinean Lola Arias, and ‘I am not beautiful” by the Spanish Angelica Liddell. Since both are authors and actresses of her own show this article seek to analyze how they work with their memories in order to carry out a performative scene.
