Abstract

Based on examples (literary and factual) of the combat of hegemonic forces against those whose material organization differed from the productive normativity, we question how actions to transform space and violence against certain groups can prevent the revival of memory. However, paradoxically, we suggest that, due to the ruin, the historical agent uses the fragments to narrate and, thus, write about the past, about today and even tomorrow. This article, therefore, reasons about the relationship between interdictions and the possibility of historicization from two analysis methodologies: Walter Benjamin's constellation theory and the allegory of Solomon's mirrors, developed by Father Vieira, which establish relationships between chronologically separate facts and allow us to develop links to understand those episodes whose evidence has been obliterated.
