Abstract

Technological advances have significantly transformed the legal system, providing accessibility, efficiency and transparency. Digitalization, artificial intelligence and online mediation are innovative examples that facilitate access to justice, allowing more people to pursue their rights without bureaucratic barriers and high costs. However, modernization also poses challenges, such as the need for digital inclusion, security of information and adaptation to technological tools. Thus, this study analyzes how technology contributes to expanding access to justice, addressing its evolution in the legal context, main mechanisms and solutions to challenges of digitization. The research is justified by the urgent need to ensure that technological advances benefit society, reducing inequalities in access. As a methodology, uses bibliographical research to build a theoretical framework, with help from books, magazines and websites specializing in the subject. With this, it contributes to the academic and legal debate, highlighting the importance of technology in democratizing justice and strengthening rights in an increasingly digitized scenario.
