A autonomia estética e relevância da arte em meio a um mundo reificado

Abstract

This paper aims at considering art within a domain related to the universal / particular dialectics, both in the esthetic level and in the description of the social situation of individuals in a world called administrative. The contemporary art has a fundamental relevance when includes a sort of reasoning in its praxis opposed to the reification of the world conducted by the late capitalism. According to this argument, art points to an idea of enlightenment, enunciating the artist’s and audience’s subjectivity with the connotative objectivity of the art objects and the construction of meaning by the same audience. There is objectivity not only in the art’s materiality, but also in that is commonly perceived in the multiple shared experiences. There is also subjectivity as the presence of the self in its operation, as well as in the singularity of the very pictorial production.
