Abstract

Access to information today creates a false illusion that accumulation of information is knowledge. Philosophy allows us to take a critique inquiry and one which prevents such illusions, but it must constantly respond to the question: how do we know? Our intention in this article is guided to reconstruct the trajectory of the theory of knowledge in modernity as a theoretical path that allows us to understand the philosophical thinkingthat reason and subjectivity occupies the central place and also criticized. The accumulation of information is not synonymous with knowledge,there is a need to justify consistent knowledge may have implications for the world of life.
