In this article I give an account of the experience of struggle and articulation of communities of the Valley of Oaxaca against the mining activity, I focus in a particular way in the case of San José del Progreso, municipality of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca and from this experience I show the different constructions and territorial reconfigurations that emerge in the context of the struggle against mining extractivism.
