Abstract

This work aims to cover the decolonial thought, showing the possible interfaces between it, the paradigmatic criticism of Boaventura de Souza Santos and the genealogy of power in Michel Foucault. By taking the coloniality of the concept of gender, considering the admission of historically specific features of the organization of gender in its modern / colonial system, it is possible to recognize the persistence of singularities that emerge in the production of rhizomes and everyday resistances, from the point of view of the person. The work advances in an attempt to identify the idea of equality present in this approach, by examining the narrative of a trans woman as representative of the (located) knowledge of abject bodies in what they express their needs, demands and production of rights.
