Abstract

This theoretical essay aims to make some considerations about the (non) places destined for Transidentities in society, aiming at reflection on the right to the city and to difference in social spaces. It starts from the premise that the Transidentities, as well as the other segments considered as minorities, are still excluded and made invisible with regard to the recognition of their rights. In this sense, as a general objective, it reflects on (Trans) identities, as well as, in relation to some issues related to the exclusion and violation of their experiences, which are intertwined with the city, the street and non-places. As a methodological apparatus, the analytical approach is used, aiming to clarify concepts, and the hermeneutic approach, aiming to enable the understanding of the perspective of (Trans) identities, gender and sexualities, thus transcending a binary and very restricted understanding in this field of analysis, even today.

Bacharela em Direito (URI) Membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Novos Direitos em Sociedades Complexas, vinculado ao Programa Stricto Sensu Mestrado e Doutorado em Direito da Universidade Regional Integrada do Alto Uruguai e das Missões, URI Campus de Santo Ângelo-RS (CNPQ). Especialista em História, Cultura, Memória e Patrimônio (URI). Especialista em Democracia Participativa, República e Movimentos Sociais (UFMG). Graduada em História-Licenciatura (UNINTER). Possui experiência em organizações civis e públicas que tratam da temática do Patrimônio Arqueológico, histórico, cultural e de memória.
