The territorial issue has always been present in debates on the formatting of rights, essential in the technical development of geopolitics and fundamental for the delineation of discussions on war. But when we approach the debate of war, more precisely on its impact on the environment and how discourses around environmental damage are formatted, research is few and/or almost non-existent. In order to provide a little about this approach, the historical conjuncture of the War in Ukraine was selected, because it is the most mediatized conflict in the history of humanity, that is, many fronts and voices that were silenced, today gain visibility within the platforms. communicative. In this sense, the objective was to discuss two issues that are little analyzed together, namely: war and the environment, the latter as a silent victim of belligerent conflicts. For this, the work is divided into two central sections: the conceptual design of the war and the war in Ukraine and its environmental impacts. For the development of this work, the hypothetical-deductive method was used, with a qualitative approach of an exploratory nature, as well as the literature review.
Keywords: War. War in Ukraine. Environmental impacts.
