O CARE POLICY IN BRAZIL AND ARGENTINA
A comparative perspective

The text discusses, from the crossings of the COVID-19 pandemic, on the construction of a Care Policy in Brazil and Argentina, within a situated context, highlighting problems, contradictions, but also potentialities in both scenarios . The study is part of the final postdoctoral report in the XXX Program. The focus of the research is qualitative, and uses the methodology of comparative studies. It presents as results the importance of the visibility of the issue of care in the public agenda and the ongoing processes to transform the scenario of asymmetries in the sexual division of productive and reproductive work between men and women.
