The purpose of this work is to discuss the policy of agrarian reform implemented in the Transamazonic region in the state of Pará, observing the historical construction of this space from the National Integration Plan; what regulates the legislation in terms of obligations of the State for the implementation of the agricultural reform policy, and; how it has been applied in practice, observing the social and economic rights of rural workers and settlers in the region. The research method used is the qualitative deductive with data collection by bibliographic review covering the construction of the Transamazonic highway, as well as by documentary analysis of national agricultural legislation. The results point to the violation of the rights of the region’s migrant settlers, to whom benefits were promised that were not actually offered. In the same sense, he understands that the agrarian reform envisaged by the legislation is not seen in reality.
