This study aims to analyze female and racial representation in municipal, state, and federal elections from 2014 to 2022 in Brazil, presenting an overview of the elections based on data available on the website of the Superior Electoral Court. Quantitative and documentary research was carried out on voter turnout and female candidates in the most recent elections in Brazil. The data shows that women did not meet the minimum quota for representation in political parties, but showed a considerable increase in the last elections, with a rate of more than one. The study shows a snapshot of the electoral picture, to enable a debate on the subject, since female political representation is low in Brazil compared to other Latin American countries, and Brazil will not meet the 2030 agenda on gender equality.
