Abstract

We propose here to address some nodal points of the model of the sociological theory of law (TSD) and legal sociology (SJ) of Correas. Both proposals, linked to other areas such as the philosophy of law, during their consolidation process have incorporated distinct disciplines such as semiology, emphasizing some themes and explicitly ceasing to work on others. Thus, in his writings of the 70's and 80's, there is a greater concern with the concrete analysis of the capitalist legal form; unlike later writings of the 90's, where the concern is greater with the sociological theory of capitalist law, which is presented as a prelude to the analysis of normative models carried out in the first place. These accents constituted a model or form of exercise of the activity of legal sociology which, we believe, is part of the basis for the understanding of other areas of legal criticism such as legal pluralism or human rights.
