Abstract

This research has the general objective of problematizing the initial data from the national survey on university extension within the scope of Physical Education teacher training, based on the emergence of Resolution CNE/CP nº 4/2024. The analysis is of a critical-interpretative nature and focuses on the set of 111 extension activities in Physical Education from five Brazilian public universities, examining the territories they occupy. The discussions are organized around three axes: the university as a center; the multiplicity of territories as an expansion of engagement; and the school and the tenth part. Thus, extension hours appear to constitute a bridge between the university, the school, and the community. However, the barren landscape of the school in extension activities may open synthetic and artisanal pathways. Moreover, the potential of this tenth part is expanded in addressing the challenges of Physical Education teacher training.
