Artificial intelligence, business management and the future of work in Brazil

Artificial Intelligence advances worldwide and incurs several changes in the relationship between people, services, machines and industries. Brazil is going through a moment of transition when compared to more developed countries, making it possible to study them before they occur or while they occur. Thus, it is necessary to reflect on the advances of these technologies in the Brazilian labor market, what are their impacts on companies and professions. Contextualizing them on the national scene, the article provides recommendations on how companies and workers can adapt better. Furthermore, it concludes by highlighting the importance of building public policies such as universal basic income. For that, bibliographic research was used as methodology, analyzing different materials available in the literature in addition to data provided by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN).
