This article aims to demonstrate that the book Quarto de Despejo is a testimony to a condemned existence. At first it explained what comes to the existence ordered from a colonialist critique of existential-phenomenological ontology of Heidegger and Sartre. Therefore, recourse to the authors called decolonial Latin American thought that adopt a perspective of ontological analysis, but at the same time critical to the traditional Eurocentrism. In a second step, it shows the articulation of Carolina Maria de Jesus narrative in Quarto de Despejo and the existence condemned as working in the previous session. We conclude that phenomenology existential, since decolonized, can contribute to a better understanding of popular and subaltern Latin American world whose characteristic and distinctive trait to Europe the experience of oppression by ethnic-racial way.
