Based on a discourse analysis theoretical background, the article aims to analyze a report from the Ministry of Education (MEC) about the linguistic policy of bilingual education for the deaf. We sought to check in the report how the relation between the deaf subject and the traces of a prohibited language memory (PAYER, 2001) is built and what is this subejct’s subscription mode in a specific symbolic materiality, namely, Libras, in relation to Portuguese.Downloads
