Scientific publications are the official record of science. For an area to be established, it must have at least one scientific association and, mainly, scientific journals about it, and this is the case of studies on police literature. In this area, Agatha Christie is one of the most well-known and prolific authors, however, Brazilian scientific studies on the author and her works are still scarce. The objective of this work is, therefore, to map the scientific publications produced in Brazil about Agatha Christie and to understand the intellectual influences that guide such research, to create bibliometric indicators. This is exploratory research, supported by Bibliometrics and the Citation Analysis technique. The results demonstrate that: scientific research on Agatha Christie has increased, there are researchers and institutions from all regions of Brazil, especially the Southeast and that in addition to Literature, several areas of knowledge are interested in the topic. It is concluded that Agatha Christie's work is a source for different types and approaches of studies and that such research should be encouraged.
