Understanding reproductive justice in Brazil is complex and involves movements and studies from a wide variety of sources, mainly from fields of knowledge such as the Social Sciences. Issues related to reproductive justice in the country are marked by gender, race, and class, which must be considered together in the analysis. The objective of this study is to discuss reproductive justice in Brazil and the control of Black women's bodies, by empirically analyzing birth control situations at different times in the Brazilian historical context. The study consists of theoretical and bibliographical research, observing aspects of intersectionality and the coloniality of gender that permeate the social construction of the reproduction of Black women in Brazil.
