Abstract

Considering the current escalation of acts that undermine the freedom of the chair and the problem of the innumerable attempts to censor critical thinking against hegemony, the objective is, through the analysis of some emblematic cases, to discuss the broader scenario of the return of authoritarianism. To this end, case studies are carried out, followed by an understanding of the role of the judiciary (in the cases in which the selected episodes were judicialized) and Public Administration (when resolved in the administrative sphere). Thus, it is observed that, at the moment when a scrapping and education disassembly project is put into practice, at the same time, its workers are subjected to authoritarian forms of control of teaching practice, which allows us to conclude that there are ongoing a broader process of deep malaise and regression in democratic ways.
