Venezuela has been suffering a serious political, economic and humanitarian crisis that has forced thousands of Venezuelans to move to other countries, including Brazil. Therefore, this article seeks to investigate the consequences of the humanitarian crisis in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on Brazil, especially with regard to the growing migratory flow of Venezuelans across Brazilian borders. Through bibliographical research, of an exploratory nature, this research seeks to understand this complex phenomenon, under the prism of human rights and the possibilities brought by new technologies, namely, cell phone applications. For this purpose, bibliographical and exploratory research is used in order to carry out an analysis of the new migration law nº 13.445/17 and other relevant legislation, examining how the Brazilian State has been acting against this scenario that is increasingly present in society, in addition to identify some technological initiatives created to help these people in the face of vulnerabilities that refugee status presents.
