Abstract

This article intends to carry out an assessment of the relation between Law and Marxism in the work of Óscar Correas. To this end, it presents his main contributions around three issues: the critique of legal ideology, the controversies with Pachukanis and the theoretical resumption of Kelsen. Based on these elements, the interpretation that Correas's work is characterized by advances and retreats is carried out, highlighting a perspective of post-Pachukanian Marxist legal critique as well as a reconciliation of this same critique with Kelsen's theory of law.
