Abstract

This article has the ability to analyze the social responsibility of the company in a globalized context, in which new forms of precarious work relationships have emerged and, consequently, new ways of violating Human Rights. In addition, the idea that the company should act ethically in the conduction of their corporate business has become a hot topic in discussions regarding corporate sustainability. By this evidence the question is: does the company have a duty, as a global agent responsible for the fulfillment of Human Rights, to give effect to Fundamental Rights for society in the current conjecture of the globalized world? In this scenario, along the restructuring of the production chain, it is based on the idea that the company no longer has as its objective only profitability, having used business management in a socially responsible manner to obtain advantages in the market. Above all, the emergence of financial mechanisms that suggest joint action by private entities with the State, provided that respecting the national and international legal system, has proved  to be an interesting tool to regulate the market, reduce violations of Human Rights and promote economic development in a sustainable way.
