Abstract

Currently, with the convenience of having gps technology available on smartphones, printed maps lose their usefulness. In the preparation of the maps presented below, in addition to the taste for art-creation, formative and cognitive processes are shown in the pleasure of mapping by a (almost) geographer. These maps point to a significant process of learning through doing.

Author Biography

Lai Bronzi Rocha, Universidade Federal Fluminense

Graduating in Geography at the Universidade Federal Fluminense. Scholarship student in the Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET) Geografia UFF/Niterói, where he works together with the Núcleo de Geografia e Cinema. Works on the Extension Project: Lugares de Docência, by DATER Geografia/UFF, in partnership with AGE/UFF and POSGEO/UFF. Participates in the Project: Geografar em movimento e pesquisar em ação contra os impactos da pandemia, of Núcleo de Estudos Território e Resistência na Globalização (NUREG/UFF). He is a participant of the Núcleo de Estudos Território e Resistência na Globalização (NUREG/UFF).
