Inclusion in Research at Museological Institutions

The paper seeks to reflect on inclusion in the museum institution, starting from the Archeology/Geography interface in a transdisciplinary approach. By studying the routine of blind researchers at the Guarani Archeology and Landscape Studies Laboratory and Regional Archeology Museum at FCT-UNESP, Presidente Prudente campus, SP, the research started from the study of production on accessibility in museums. Action research made it possible to infer the concepts of inclusive geographic spatialization, promoted the creation of methodologies and infrastructure adjustments that enable the participation of blind researchers, in addition to improving service to blind and/or low-vision visitors to the exhibition hall and the Heritage Education courses and workshops offered. It is concluded that the actions carried out so far contribute to making museum information accessible, and by instilling in researchers linked to the complex the experience of what the laws of accessibility determine for empathetic coexistence, respecting differences.
